Rental Owners & Managers

The North Carolina Housing Finance Agency requires that developments using our affordable housing programs meet certain federal and state requirements, including site maintenance and tenant eligibility. The Agency monitors all properties and reports on compliance for the specified funding source.

To make compliance with those requirements as straightforward as possible, we offer information on policies, procedures and income limits for each funding program and training sessions to help you ensure that your properties and tenants meet necessary requirements.

If you are a property owner or manager who is not currently participating in the Agency's Targeting and Key Programs, the State also offers an additional rental assistance program called the Transitions to Community Living Voucher (TCLV). TCLV offers timely rent deposits and reimbursement for damages and broken leases. Tenants are ready to move in now. To learn more about TCLV, email [email protected] or call 1-866-973-3147. To get started, list your property with NCHousingSearch.org.
